Colorfix Brings Graphene Innovation to One of Europe's Largest Conferences

01 de julho, 2026

Colorfix will participate in Graphene 2026, the 16th edition of Europe’s largest conference and exhibition dedicated to graphene and 2D materials, taking place from June 30 to July 3, 2026, in Barcelona, Spain.

During the event, the company will present the lecture “High Performance and Sustainability – Greater Impact: Graphene”, highlighting how the technology developed by Colorfix is helping reduce material consumption in flexible packaging without compromising performance or economic viability.

Graphene as a Transformative Force in the Packaging Industry

The presentation will showcase the results achieved through the incorporation of graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) into polyethylene matrices. Even at very low concentrations, graphene provides significant improvements in mechanical strength and stiffness, enabling a controlled reduction in the thickness of flexible packaging, stretch films, and heat-shrink films.

This combination of enhanced performance and lower raw material consumption represents an important step forward for the industry, which is increasingly seeking more sustainable and competitive solutions to meet current market demands.

Revora Poly-G: Technology Developed for Industry

One of the highlights of the presentation will be Revora Poly-G, a graphene nanoplatelet-based masterbatch platform developed to facilitate the industrial-scale adoption of graphene technology.

The solution was designed to overcome one of the industry's main challenges: achieving homogeneous graphene dispersion at low loadings while ensuring consistent performance in large-scale manufacturing. With a plug-and-play approach, the technology allows polymer processors to integrate the benefits of graphene in a practical and efficient manner.

With more than two years of commercial operation, Revora Poly-G has already demonstrated concrete results in the flexible packaging market, delivering improved performance, material reduction, and greater production efficiency.

Sustainability with Real Results

Colorfix’s participation in Graphene 2026 reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation driven by sustainability. By enabling the production of lighter and stronger packaging materials, graphene contributes to reduced resource consumption and a more efficient manufacturing chain.

More than just a high-performance material, graphene has become a practical tool for increasing industrial competitiveness by aligning technical performance, cost efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
